Overview
At OxyCare Uganda, our primary mission is to ensure that healthcare facilities have access to medical oxygen, particularly in rural areas where oxygen concentrators are scarce. Through this, we target the critical gaps in the healthcare system by focusing on the maintenance, repair, and sustainable management of oxygen concentrators and other related equipment.
Biomedical human resources for health
We are committed to building local biomedical capacity by recruiting, training, and deploying biomedical technicians. These technicians are equipped to handle the technical demands of maintaining oxygen concentrators and other medical equipment. In addition, we train healthcare workers in the proper use and basic maintenance of oxygen equipment, which is essential for sustaining these efforts over the long term.

Strategic Partnerships
OxyCare Uganda works with healthcare stakeholders, for example, the Ministry of Health and Makerere University School of Public Health, to align our work with national priorities and translate functional biomedical equipment into lives saved, respectively.
