Solomon Piwun
Biomedical Engineer - Founder and Executive Director
Solomon Piwun is a biomedical engineer and the Founder and Executive Director of OxyCare Uganda, with over 10 years of experience, international training, and hands-on expertise in advanced biomedical technologies. He has completed biomedical engineering training at Eulji University in South Korea, specialized training in nuclear instrumentation and radiotherapy electronics at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) headquarters in Vienna, Austria, and technical training in the Bhabhatron-II Taw & Imagin systems in India. He also completed training in high-energy LINAC operational theory at Varay Oncology Systems in Israel. With OxyCare Uganda, he leads initiatives to strengthen medical oxygen systems, build biomedical capacity, and advance sustainable healthcare solutions in underserved communities.
